To enhance production efficiency, a Mexico customer in the medical industry invested in two advanced medical tape production machines: the Fully Automatic Medical Tape Rewinding Machine and the Ten Shafts Medical Tape Cutting Machine. These machines were specifically tailored to meet the customer’s requirements of producing medical tapes with a core diameter of 50mm and a minimum cutting width of 6mm, ensuring exceptional precision and stability.

Project Timeline

From receiving the customer’s medical tape raw material sample to the final delivery of the machines, the entire process spanned several months. Below is a breakdown of the key stages:

1. Sample Testing

The customer sent a medical tape raw material sample for testing. We conducted extensive parameter adjustments on the machines to ensure that both rewinding and cutting met the required quality standards.

2. Equipment Production and Initial Tuning

Based on the customer’s specific needs, we customized the medical tape rewinding machine and cutting machine to perfectly accommodate the 50mm core and the 6mm cutting width. During initial factory testing, we encountered challenges such as tension control and cutting precision, which were resolved through iterative adjustments.

3. Delivery and Installation

Once testing was completed, the machines were shipped to Mexico and installed on-site. After final testing at the customer’s facility, the machines were successfully launched into production, delivering efficiency and precision that exceeded expectations.

After-sales Service Support

After the machines were delivered, the customer faced an issue with loading plastic cores of varying lengths during production. To address this, we conducted a series of video calls with the customer, providing real-time guidance to identify the root cause and implement adjustments. By modifying the loading system’s settings and offering step-by-step instructions, we successfully resolved the problem, ensuring smooth operation across all core lengths.
